I know i'm going to get grief for using itunes, but if anyone else can help, it would be appreciated.
I am trying to burn a cd, so i can play songs in the car. I have created a playlist, and transferred the particular album into it.
However, at the botton of the screen, where itunes shows the size/duration etc of the playlist, it shows :
60 tracks (correct)
505mb (about right as far as can tell)
3.9 hrs (well over - have listened to album on ipod - less than this!)
If I try to burn this playlist to a cd, itunes tells me that the playlist is too large, and can only burn the first 18 tracks!
Can anyone help me, as I can't seem to fathom out what is wrong.

You wont be able to make a music cd that will play in a conventional cd player with more than about 70 mins of music. If your car cd player can play mp3s then just burn your itunes mp3s onto a data cd.0

Is that 550meg of mp3s, which you're trying to burn as audio-cd so it is converting them into .wavs and exceeding the size of the disk?
It would be very unusual to have 60 actual audio tracks on 1 cd unless they were burned as data..0 -
When you get the 'burns settings' box make sure that you click on the mp3 option about halfway down.0

choose audio CD if you want to listen to it on a normal CD player (your music has to be less than 77mins to fit on 1 CD)
or choose MP3 CD if the CD player supports MP3 discs or if you just want to listen to the CD on a computer. (your music has to be under 700MB to fit on one CD)0
