Council says yellow lines don't need to be terminated at GRIDS

I've just got my Formal Representation through for parking on a single yellow line, the line was not terminated, please find the letter attached.

I am going to take it to the Independent Adjudicator but I'm not sure exactly what to put as the reason to dispute the PCN? I am aware this is my last change to get the PCN cancelled.

Thanks guys...

That sounds about right councils rarely accept appeals, what you need to do next is pop over to pepipoo http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=30
Start a new thread on there, post photos of the lines and signs of where you were parked, you'll aslo need to show the pcn you got and the rejection letter. There are many ways to avoid paying these tickets pcns are often flawed as are notice to owner ( which will come next ).
I notice the letter states it was in a cpz where you were parked ? cpz are another fail point of many pcn's, for a cpz to be legal it has to have - if the road is over 5M wide two signs at every entry point into the zone, if there arent 2 sings then its non compliant.

Anyhow pop over to pepipoo and the lad n lasses on there will help no end and thus hopefully save you a few quid.

Yes, you do need pepipoo's help with this to maximise your chances of winning.

But your images are not zooming in properly when I try to look closer. And you need to also let pepipoo see the front and back of the PCN, it's very important. And pics of where you parked, the lines and signs.

Read the sticky 'how to post pictures' on that pepipoo link already given, then read a few threads to get the hang of the forum and what to post. The pics must all be there or you will just get asked for them and time will be lost.

Where are all the CPZ signs? There must be signs on BOTH sides of the carriageway (except on narrow roads) at EVERY possible entrance to the place where you parked. Not just the way you happened to go that day - so find a possible route in that is not fully signed and bingo! you have a good appeal!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
