  • OP ask yourself this, if you had booked the wrong date for the room would Travel Lodge have refunded you for your mistake?, probably not and you would have been out of pocket.

    I completely agree; his fault not yours. If I was in your place and the buyer had paid up with no fuss I would have refunded him £20 as a goodwill gesture, but he tried to get away with not paying you!
