Living Trusts

I would appreciate some information on Life Interest Trust.
For instance, let say that husband and wife both have Life Interest Trust where a proportion of their estate(s) is/are willed to their respective children. If the husband was to die the wife would remain in the family home.
However, should the remaining wife wish to move house how would this be managed/granted?

I think with a life interest there is nothing stopping the wife from moving out, but the children couldn't force the sale of the house and make her go.
If the house had been owned equally between the husband and wife, he died and left her a life interest but then the children were to get his share. But now she decides she doesn't want the life interest and is going to sell anyway, she walks away with her half and the other half is split as per her husbands wishes. That maybe all of his share to the kids or say half of his share to the kids and the other half to his wife (or any percentage)Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
