Hi all; well, it looks like a relatively easy day for me on the Flying front;;) for which I'm grateful, as I have to put varnish on the 2nd side of the door we're currently doing today, and the fumes are not pleasant._pale_

Serena sorry to hear about DS1's friend. Such a waste, to go that way.:(

Dusty sorry to hear about your friend's mum, also.:(

May they both have a peaceful journey to the Summerlands.

Greenbee have a (((HUG))) – you know what they say, if brains was a disease, men would all be healthy!

Lenza and other fledgling flyers DON'T panic about keeping up with the thread.:o It's not considered rude to just post and run, or as I often do, skim read. I generally have a bit of a catch up while I have my lunch, or while I'm having a rest break, but bear in mind I'm retired on medical grounds, so I'm at home all day. If you work full time, you probably won't have the luxury of looking at the thread whenever you wish.:o

Piggers yeah, I loathe and detest wearing wrist supports, too – they make my hands sweat! And I know all about having a man lie on one's hand in bed, albeit unintentionally! Ouchy-ouch!:(

Ooh, nearly missed it – Happy 18th Birthday to Sockdrawer's DS.:T

I need the motivation to organise myself as have health problems ,dont work and therefore no real routine
so I think this will be good for me.
Are you my long-lost twin, by any chance?:D If my experience is anything to go by, you'll find the thread invaluable, both for the lists, which I find keep me from going too OTT when I have a "good" day, and for the friendship and encouragement.

Ooh, I wanna try the Fishy Feet thing; I have a feeling I'd love it.:o And my feet are horrendous just lately - even my "comfy" shoes hurt like bu88ery to wear.:(

Right, as this post is starting to look like "War And Peace", I'm off to find me a varnish brush.....:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • I haven't been flying as such today, not following you all anyway. I've done the basics downstairs but been in the garden doing some prep work for spring and washing and ironing.

Was expecting living room day and it's a sty so I'm going to get it acceptable seeing as I already hoovered the stairs and hall this morning (must be psychic). Baby has mashed his sandwich around so I'll pick that mess up, feed him some milk, have a bit of cake :o and get on with it.

    Hope everyone's well x
    So, there are these boys,

Reporting in that my tax return is done and I am due a repayment :D but it looks like I will have to wait 24 hours for their system to update so I can reclaim the repyment.

I have also done some fluttering around here and sorted online banking etc.

Wash any curtains/draught excluders and doormats! - Removed door curtain that has been there since my Grandma lived here, she died and I moved in over 5 years ago. Eeeeek no chance of washing it all the sewing is undone at the bottom and it looks disgusting. Does make my hall look so much brighter though and I am very tempted to rip off the wallpaper in there and paint it a nice sunny apricot as planned. Its a huge amount of work but I could do it.. could I? :o
