Integrated dishwasher - matching the door?

We've recently purchased an integrated dishwasher. We need a door to match the kitchen cupboards but we didn't put the kitchen in. (Came with the house)

I've taken a cupboard door off but can't see a name. Any suggestions on how to get one?

  • New house or old house. Do previous occupants know where it came from. If not still current kitchen you are probably stuffed if you want the exact finish. Can you post a picture of it on this forium in case someone recognises it?

The house we purchased was a repossession so no chance of getting in touch with the previous occupants.

On the off chance that anyone recognises it here are the doors:

Taken with my webcam so it's not the best quality.
  • I presume you were replacing an existing machine that must have worked for a few years making the kitchen at least a similar age. Don't know how long kitchen manufacturers stick with certain materials but I reckon probably obsolete now.

Integrated appliances are a pain. Twice the price of a free standing unit and a pain to get in and out of their location.

The front is a fairly standard size and you will be able to get a piece to fit from a kitchen supplier but probably not to match! Unless it is so old that somebodyis getting rid of theirs.

No - not replacing it's a new machine. I actually don't think the kitchen is that old, so it is possible that it may be out there somewhere.

Yeah I'm thinking of just taking the door around some kitchen suppliers - i'll remember JHC.
  • What about Ikea ...recently a friend of mine was able to add a completely new set of kitchen cupboards-which look identical to her existing 8 year old kitchen (and similar to your photo) when she discovered them in IKEA...

From your photo it looks fairly modern you could try Ballygowan kitchens or Rite price at the temple crossroads they have lots of stock doors and you probably get one there.

As a last resort you could have one custom made by a company that builds kitchens, might be pricey but at least it would match?
