Attic Condensation

    Ok so got the keys to the house now and been up into the attic. It's not a very pretty sight!

    I'm not sure going by the quote how they would replace the wood, as surely you wouldnt be able to replace that without removing tiles and getting to the wood that way?

    Not really sure whats best to do to begin with - should we try to use a dehumidifier and kill the mould?

  • The insulation needs pulling back to let airflow, dont understand what the boards are for, any roofers out there that can advise?

    Nothing wrong with that roof, joists are fine. Those silly boards will just yank out, they were put in afterwards cut to fit between the joists. Get rid of them. Pull all the loft insulation away from the eaves to leave a gap.
