What quality of carpet supplied with a new build home?

Hi
Does anybody know the quality of the carpet/underlay used when a new house builder (Redrow, Persimmon) etc supply carpets with a new house purchase?
The reason being is that I have to carpet an older home approx 140m2 according to the survey and only have a limited budget £1.2k tops to carpet and put underlay down, so we have been looking at Cloud 9 9mm underlay and either Abingdon Stainfree Twist or the Cormar Primo ultra (as we have young children) for the whole house and wondered how these carpets compared to those in the show homes etc.
TIA

we did a house for Redrow in southlanarkshire last month and put down Primo Calico all through the house with a 6mm standard underlay , that's usually the standard of carpet and underlay that's put down unless otherwise requested, it is up here in my neck of the woods anyway but other housing projects maybe different.0

Ive never lived in a new build but have sold plenty once the builder has passed them on and in my opinion the carpets are never as as good quality as what i would choose for my own property.
However, i am picky!£2 Savers Club #156!
Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0
