    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Well, I have already made a dent in this weeks £100 budget.

    £51.26 - Tesco
    £14.00 - Window cleaner
    £ 6.50 - Sons dinner money

    Total £71.76
  • :D Morning all. I pledge £15.00 this week. I didn't too bad last week.

Most of my major shopping was done online at Tescos so it's just the very basics again. I didn't need to buy a prezzie for my mate. I had a look around at things I always seem to buy in bargain shops and put them away in case I need them. I have this pretty round plastic container, with beautiful rose print around it. I put some lovely vanilla candles inside, and tied it with a purple ribbon. I think she would love it! I hope so!!

Have a good day one and all.:)

    Hi all,

This is my first post. I thought I'd start out with something simple and fortunately this thread is still small. I need to get used to navigating my way around the site and all the rapidly updating threads.

I started my weekly spend challenge today and will run up to midnight on Saturday. I'm going to try for an average of £5 /day, so £30 for the week.

    Today I've spent £8.24. So £8.24/£30!
    Weekly Spend Challenge - £0.00 / £40
    Jan. NSD - 0 / 0
    1v100 pt 21 #20 - £0 / £1,852.79
    LBM - Jan. 25 2016 - £21,400.82
    Half My Debt In 2016 - £0 / £21,400.82 (0%)

Right Im going to join in here please! This week I will go for £15 I think that is easily achievable (if the kids dont spring something on me that is!) and hopefully I wont spend more that £10

Welcome I have added you to the list. Let us know how you get on over the week.
    Evening

Last week I managed not to spend any of my money :jOH also had me return something to B&Q and said I could keep the money :money:so ended the week richer by £18 :D My first yellow week of the year.

This week I am aiming to spend less than £10 again.

Well done on yellow BB you are our third from last week. Must be something in the air that is good for making money.

Hello! May I join your challenge please? £20 for the week... Eeep...

    Thankyou!

Welcome you are on the list and officially a budgeteer. Let us know how you week goes.

Natsing - happy belated birthday I hope you had fun. How do you feel about turning 30? I have mine in 1.5 years and I am not sure how I feel.

    Spends for me today:
    • £6 on coffee, breakfast and lunch from work (must be more organised)
    • £2 on fruit to eat at work
    Total £8/£30
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • Oh dear. 2 days in and already spent my £20 - took the dogs to daycare today as I've done something quite ridiculous to my back and can't walk them.

Thinking positively, I *need* nothing to last me the week so fingers x'd I can still make target...

(Having said that, Dinodog is at the vets for jabs on Thursday - although his rescue pays for his treatment, it may have to come out of my pocket first... eeep! )
  • NSD today. I will hopefully be the same tomorrow as well.
  • **sneaking in**

I was BAD yesterday and not only bought a pasty for lunch but followed it by an apple doughnut :o
I also had to pay for the carpark in town and bought a book of stamps, so yesterday's spends came to £6.41 :(

Today I bought 2 loaves of bread and some rolls - total of £1.55.
