I would give ebay a try... there are lots of Elvis fans out there.
Make sure you get coca cola, elvis and mirror in the title, and you should get a fair amount of interest
I can't find any similar mirrors with Elvis on them being sold, or sold recently.
Bear this in mind:
- How will you accept payment? Paypal will enocurage more bids - you may need to upgrade to a premier account.
- How will you post it? Ensure you choose a method that insures glass. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
If you're going to sell it online, eBay is the best place. Their fees can be a bit steep, but I'm afraid they still get way more customers than any of their competitors - probably more than all their competitors! Your mirror is likely to appeal to both coca-cola and Elvis collectors. If you have a look around this forum you'll find plenty of info on starting to sell on eBay.
The main disadvantage with selling something like that online is that you'd have a job packing it safely, and p&p would be expensive. Royal Mail standard postal services do not cover you for damage to anything glass, no matter how well it's packed. If the mirror is large, it may be best to advertise it as collection only.
A car boot sale would avoid the problem of having to post it, and if you have plenty of other stuff to get rid of, it would probably be worth doing.
Another possibility might be a local auction room, if you have one nearby. They could give you a rough idea of its value, which could be helpful even if you end up selling it elsewhere.0
