Why are banks & building society’s lowering their charges then? Is it not part & parcel of the same thing?
It's true I didn't like the answer! Or more the tone of the reply!
I very much understand the current situation but still find it disgusting that it's allowed to happen.
Perhaps I'm not using this forum correctly yet! Merely venting my frustration as opposed to coming up with intelligent questions to ask!!0 -

Fair enough, but it is a bit unfair to add your 'vents' in the middle of someone else's post. Perhaps you want to create a new post to discuss issues like this, as it has nothing to do with the OP's situation.Best Regards

"How about I stop drawing on the account when I know it’s going to cost me?"
Truly ground braking & brilliant financial advise. Thanks.
Not spending money you dont have and living within your means are the basics on how to avoid getting charges. So, in that respect you are right. It is brilliant advice.
We can tell you are not happy but in the scheme of things it doesnt matter how you feel or what you think, its not going to change anything. It's true I didn't like the answer! Or more the tone of the reply!
What do you want? the truth and facts or to get wishy washy cuddly responses that agree with you and serve you no benefit whatsoever? The truth hurts sometimes. Better to be told it straight than to be fobbed off.

Hi all,
Thanks for contributions guys, I do appreciate the responses. I figure I'm not gonna take the bate and fill out the form just to get rejected, instead I'll try to deliver my point once again in yet another letter. Fair enough, I don't really have a case as such, but I'm just appalled at the fact that banks are making money that way. So I want a definitive response and I'm not taking a "Not qualified" or "Not eligible" sort of crap for an answer.
@dunstonh, Man... I don't like your answers. But that's because they are not what I want to hearso to be honest I don't mind if you bring us back down from a "happy-delusional-the-world-is-fair" cloud for some cold truths
Anyhow, I'm gonna have a go at writing another letter - let's see what happens... I'll keep you posted.
Cheers.0
