Vent - Sky Refer a Friend Vouchers

Back in November we arranged to have Sky installed in our new house. We were referred by my brother in law who is already a customer and the email we received promised us each £50 M&S vouchers.
My BIL got his £50 voucher within a couple of weeks and was able to buy his Xmas food with it. We heard nothing so last week gave Sky a call and were told that the vouchers hadn't even been processed but they said they'd try and hurry it along a bit.
A few days later we got a letter through from Sky 'pleased to enclose our £25 worth of vouchers' (also it was sent recorded delivery but the postman had ignored this and just put it through the door without requesting a signiture but that's a Royal Mail vent really) - called Sky again and they apologised and said they'd look into it, apparently this is happening a lot but we still haven't had the other £25 we're due.
I think they're trying it on, hoping that they can get away with only giving half the amount of vouchers. Not the best welcome from Sky!

They kept on sending me vouchers when I did this. I think they must have problems with the way they do it as 3 lots of £50 turned up at my house in a week. Of course I didn't say anything to them! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

We had a similar problems a couple of years ago with Sky, we waited months and still no vouchers despite phone calls and emails. In the end I got online and requested that my subscription be cancelled, they refused claiming I had signed up for 12 months. I told them that I was cancelling as they were in breach of contract, they should have sent me the vouchers and hadn't therefore they breachhed the terms of the contract not me. I received the vouchers within the week.:D
Cancelled the contract at the end of the 12 months because their customer service is so poor. Now have a freesat box connected to the sky dish that they installed free.0 -
I read about this happening so often on this forum (it happened to me when I recommended my sister a few years ago), that the cynical might think that Sky do it on purpose to save themselves some money from the people who don't complain."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Update.
Several more calls, some more fobbing off (including it may take 28 days for delivery!!) when I asked to speak to a manager. Lovely chap, told it like it was (unacceptable, rude etc), promised to chase it and call me back. He did, and then said the vouchers will appear but for my trouble he would credit my account £50!!
Got home today to find a card for a "sign for" package - can only be my vouchers!! Call me a cynic, but I think they were probably posted on Monday when I complained!!
