Which saw to buy??

Hope someone can advise:

I need to cut through some rusted bolts, that I can no longer turn (They are holding my concrete coal bunker together at the angle brackets).
Although I've managed to undo a couple, the rest are firmly and fully rusted.
How can I cut through them??...they are about 0.5cm in thickness. Is there a special saw??..i tried my junior hacksaw, but the blade broke instantly!

THANKS

Buy a cheap angle grinder (usually £10-£15) it will make lifr a lot easier. They usually come with a couple of cutting/grinding disks. Just be careful about eye protection and keep arms and hands covered.

Thanks..just had a look on ebay...look like the manual hacksaw is the cheapest option for me.....but.....there's so much variety!

forget junior hacksaws. waste of time for proper jobs.

Have you tried some releasing oil - WD40 or similar left for several hours to work in.
    Forgotten but not gone.

Yes...thanks!.that did help in a couple of the less rusty bolts, but I still need to get the others out.
Going to have a look at hacksaws later today.

    THANKS

If they're only 5mm bolts and they're rusty then a cold chisel and a few swift hammer strikes will do the job properly - if you can get into them , that is.
