On our flight recently it was only liquids that were prohibited, including drinks, medicines etc, but on the news today it seems that that has now been relaxed and you can even take a small drink on board.0

even if for some reason it is banned, you can buy past security.0

People do work you know, don't be so impatient :rolleyes:selyoh wrote:o well, never mindThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
A small drink...........100ml.........a can of coke is 350ml......a small bottle of water is 250ml.......100ml is about half a small cup.........the airlines dont care.......a bottle of water is 1 pound 25 p on the plane...or even in the airport shop..............just one more thing........if you ask for a can of coke on the plane you get a tiny can..........but if you ask for a can of beer you get a full size one.....then they complain that you might be drunk..........Political?....I dont do Political....well,not much!0

What if you buy duty free at a connecting airport, will that have to go in the hold on the way back or better yet, can you buy on the outgoing flight and pick up on return? The connecting airport is Schipool in Amsterdam?"This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0

I think you'll find they do! The last thing the airlines (and the airline industry) needs is another smoking wreck due to terrorist activities. They're well aware that more people are choosing car/train/ferry rather than suffer the inconvenience of transiting a UK airport.antenna wrote:the airlines dont care
The rules are written and enforced by the Department for Transport. Airline CEOs have been lobbying Parliament for months to have the restrictions relaxed and today's changes are just the first step.0 -
