hi
Can anybody help please ?
Do housing benefit allow for growing your business when assessing your claim.
For example
Say i make £60 profit one week but want to put all of the £60 back into buying more stock.
Will housing benefit say i earnt nothing that week or will they say i earnt £60 ?
many thanks

Councils will usually base your benefit entitlement on your average earnings over a period of time, generally quarterly if you have just started claimig. If you use the £60 to buy more stock, it would not be considered as profit in the long term.0
