pssst for the chocolate lovers, the double pack of Galaxy chocolate bars is down to £1 from £1.39 in Tesco and Asda :)

Don't know about your local Tesco, but ours seems to have run out of the 200 gramme Value Milk Chocolate (45p) - There is Tesco Milk Chocolate at 46p, but when you get it home - it's only 175 grammes:mad:

£50 budget for the week. Sunday spend was £0.

    Today:
£2.65 on return train ticket to work (on my day off, grrr..)
£0.00 on Boots meal deal (hurrah for Advantage card points)

I could be getting the hang of this. Except that I'm about to go to the pub.

Purely for my record (I need to keep a track of things somewhere, so it might as well be here).

    Sun - £0.00
    Mon - £9.23

the good food mag get such good recipes etc out of it.
Use it to devise a 2 week meal planner from those recipes and write a shopping list and stick to the budget. Then you can justify what you spent on it :)
