Washing machine tripping even when switched off

    Fair enough, but if you do take the top off to aid drying it out, then just have a look around as well.

    I agree with ddoris re it being easy to remove lid.

    Even if it is difficult to pull out from under the worktop, it's got to be worth a go, especially considering the callout charge.

    You may find that if you have a water leak, it is dripping behind and onto the mains plug of the washing machine. I have seen that before, tripping out electrics.
