Computers making everything massive!!

Turned on the computer today and everything is magnified! All on I.E but Chrome seems to be untouched.

At first I thought it was just Hotmail: I can see a list of all my emails but only see the first word or two of the title. Not enough for me to know what its about or where its from. Irritating! Hotmail option changes all drew a blank.

Then I tried the display options on the computer control panel.
Its not showing up as magnified, (despite looking as if it is).
Its also not getting any better or going back to how it was on the 'Appearance and Personalisation'--'Screen Resolution' option.

Am really struggling with this- every page I am having to scroll sideways on as I only get 50-25% of the width of a page on one screen!

No idea whats happened, no new software has been added since I used the computer last night, does anyone have any ideas at all?

Have you checked the magnifying glass bottom right corner if ie page should be set to 100%

...or try pressing Ctrl and - to zoom out ( Ctrl and + will zoom in ).

Thankyou so much! As much as I feel silly for it being something so simple I am so happy its not something more serious! I thought I had some sort of virus on there!

Whew! Now I can see while I type!

Based on the title, I was expecting something more along the lines of "Honey, I Blew Up The Kid". Shame.
