What does RECONDITIONED mean?

i have noticed that Currys has alot of 'reconditioned' laptops on their clearance laptops. They offer a warranty but was not sure what 'reconditioned' really meant.

Could be but then it should be called 'returned stock', reconditioned suggests that it's been rectified doesn't it ?

I have just bought one from Currys, and it seems brand new to me. I had to peel the plastic off the screen, the plug had never been used... I cant see a mark on it anywhere..........

they dont differenciate so its pot luck what you get really - something that just didnt work or someone just changing their mind you dont know till it comes
but think most places still give warrenty with it so if something goes wrong you can it sorted

Should be OK,, if they are giving a Warranty with it.

i have bought plenty of reconditioned stuff from phones to i-pods. Never had a problem, but never from curry's. They usually come in a plain box with all the manuals and everything you expect, normally with protective stickers. In the case of the phones I have noted sometimes that the actually case of the phone is not original, but that is all.
