CLARION PU-2325A car radio/cd player

Hi,
Sorry if posted in wrong board.My problem is i've bought a CLARION PU-2325A car cd/player for a peugeot 206 from ebay,fitted okay,radio works, cd player does not play cdrs (live with that) but only plays about 10 % of of my cd collection (orignals) mostly scans them then rejects them any help appreciated

Try a head cleaner disc. If that doesn't sort it then I'm afraid the bin is the best place for it.

Not an expert on this sort of thing but ....
1 Try cleaning the lens in the CD player with 1 of those cleaning discs .. like this ... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hama-CD-Laser-Cleaning-Disc/dp/B00006IVA9
2. Are the CD's it rejects scratched or perhaps in need of a clean
3. Are the CD's it does play, in good condition ie. opposite of 2. above.
4. If none of the above apply then laser/lens may be faulty in which case you may have bought a duffer!
