Can anyone tell me if it is possible to transfer recorded items from sky+ to dvd recorder to keep on disc. would like to save some of series and films. Can you provide step by step instructions as I have no idea bout these things. Thanks.

It is possible as I have done it, can't provided step by step instructions I'm afraid as I no longer have the DVD recorder connnected but from memory you just record the channel which is transmitting the picture, in my case it was AV2.
The Sky + has a copy function (red button when In personal planner), from memory all this did was start the picture you are about to record on a banner which had all the details of the program.
