audiobook on ipod

Can anyone help? downloaded an audiobook from Itunes store no problem it is in the library but it will not load onto my ipod, I downloaded a song to see if that would load and it did no problem why will the audiobook not load? the book is about 8 hours long and I do have space on my ipod for it.

have you set it to sync audiobooks?

in itunes with your ipod connected, on the left click on your ipod's name, then in the screen that comes up click the audiobooks tab, set it to sync audiobooks.

that should do it.
