Microsoft office licence problem

Bought Office Ultimate a couple of years ago. Installed in on the main home PC. This is now landfill after problems that I won't bore you with. Bought a new PC and installed Office onto that. Bought a laptop and installed Office - laptop died within a week - uninstalled Office and swapped the laptop at the shop and installed Office again. i.e my 4th installation. Install not working because licence exceeded. Will microsoft fix this as I am only attempting to use two current installations?

I would think not. but call them and ask them if they can de activate them all then start again.

this is happening with me at the minute. says locked when trying to open a document to edit or type a new document.
i probably have installed the hardware on 2 old machines (that are discarded now) and a laptop. have a new machine now and installed the software about a month ago. now i cant do anything with it.

does anyone know a number for microsoft in the UK?

I think you should see an option to register on the phone - this gives a phone number. I am going to give it a try in the morning.
