Locked Car Radio - Code needed please!

I have a Clarion Radio CD Player Model No: PU-2294A(C) Serial No: CL040120833019 which was lost after battery was disconnected to do a repair.Can anyone help please ? (peugeot are quoting £25)

    I needed to replace the battery on my car over the Christmas period and Halford's disconnected without using a "slave" battery to preserve my radio which is now locked out.

    Anyone any idea how I can get the code and input into my radio. Robins & Day are charging £35 & VAT to recode it.
