Definitely too good to be true. Something strange there!0

The headline is '1 bedroom bungalow for sale £25,000' but its described as "a unique and compact retirement studio conversion for the over 60's". On the basis that it's 'compact' I'd guess that it's really a bedsit on some retirement complex with heavy service charges.0

Well they've been pushing the £100,000 mark for some time.
So either there is a missing "1" in front of the price, or a desparate estate sale?Been away for a while.0 -

It's a tiny bedsit in Gloucestershire and someone wants rid. Perhaps someone has inherited it and is being stung for service charges.0

These are properties set within the grounds of a BUPA resi home. They seem to be on relatively short leases and the sales info for a two bedded "cottage" there mentions the following charges:
service charge £353.85 per quarter.
additional £64.15 per quarter- sinking fund for the maintenance and repair of the building.
ground rent is £25 per annum
buildings insurance contribution for the block policy is £170 per annum0 -
