Any recommendations for a good book explaining puberty to a 10 year old girl, we have spoken about it but she's said she'd rather have a book and then just ask questions

I had 'have you started yet' this was erm 15-16 years ago though but I thought it was great! Maybe slightly outdated regarding the sanitary advice but you can always get her a few leaflets for that.
Let me see if I can find it!
There you go:

I note it has some great reviews! I actually feel a bit nostalgic about it! I spent months sat hiding behind my door, furtively reading about boobs and hormones!House saving Targets:

My boys have this book and it's been helpful:

It's good as it explains the changes that happen in both boys and girls. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I brought this for my daughter, who is 9 and we found it great.

We / I got this for my DD when she was about 9 or 10, told her to go read it and come and ask me if she had any questions... it was a bit of a cop out but it turned out she is quite shy at asking some things, so it turned out to be a good thing.
though she still did ask if me and her Dad still "did it" so I gave her the "well we love each other and it's a good way to show our love for each other" which I expected to lead to "bleurgh how disgusting" rather than her asking how often we were doing it!!! :rotfl:
It was then she found out there are some questions I won't answer! ( DH told her it was every night if anyone, which she thought was really funny):rotfl:Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I also got the Usborne book for my Daughters and found it to be factual without being frightening!!!Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. ~Confucius0

Covers not just periods and chnges to the body but also hair, sweating (and the need to wash!) etc. It was great0
