help needed urgently regarding virus

i need some urgent help....just managed to restore the system on my laptop and now finally, got access to internet. I have ALOT of viruses on my laptop and need to get ird of them. I downloaded spyware doctor but i have to pay for it...im sure there is somehting out there foree that can help me get rid of the viruses??? please help, im at my wits end today!:mad:

they will ensure that the PC is clean or if not then gives instructions about running hijackthis and posting a log back here for me, Pchelpman or Alfonso to look at for you

ok, the first link given by chuckles, it helps detect the viruses etc but i will have to pay to get rid....same as the 2nd link given by stevemcol. Browntoa, i will have to follow the steps u have provided....i hope i do it right, no experience at all in all this. How would you be able to look at it for me???
