    I'm a graduate in Software Technology working in a call centre along side school leavers and am earning £11,000 a year. I'm so glaD I was encouraged to go to uni!

    EDIT: Forgot to mention, I was unemployed for three years before landing this job! Go me!

    IT Support/Project work for a large outsourcer. Approx 8 years experience. £25k P.A. East Midlands

    30 Years old, haven't progressed or earned as much as I'd like to. I think I came into the IT Sector 10 years too late, and also probably lack the drive and intelligence top progress as I'd like to.
  • Last job - IT Trainer (MS Office and 87365375665 bespoke systems - sigh...), 43k per year (London)
    No degree but IITT (TAP), BCS, ECDL, MOS, MOS Master Instructor, ILM etc etc accreditation....10 years experience

    JC suggesions since I stopped working on 1st December - call centres :D

    dont beat yourself up for not starting at 12...most of us didnt;)

    First class degree in Software Development here.

    12k first line support.

    Hopefully we can progress on, we are still young(well ish)

    Saving for a year in Japan.

  • I have a BSc Comp Sci and worked in IT for 6 years, currently an analyst programmer on 34k in North East of England
  • Last job as Junior PM in IT/Telco industry paying 32k in London and 6 years of experience.

    HND, cisco, microsoft and prince2 and wished I had studied Law or Banking related degree as IT market is saturated

    Dont work in I.T but FWIW I am 23 and have been a Police Community Support Officer for West Mids for just over a year now earning £23k. No qualifications needed but did go college to gain a National Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, but no jobs in my area.

    Sounds like I need to get into I.T!!!!?
