i thought it was more than 60 days, we have a girl on camp that went at the start of december and has just been told to come back before the end of the month so she doesnt lose her LOA, also sure when we were moving out here a girl on our flight was saying she had been in the uk for 2 months while her OH was away. Cant be certain as we havent been away for that long but im sure people have gone back for 3 weeks and not lost their LOA. HTHsback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0

JSP 752, Chapter 6 Section 6, Para 06.0127 refers to "Absence of Immediate family".
This is the only information i can find within the LOA section of the JSP 752 that refers to an amount of days.
I suggest that you contact your local HR admin section for further advise, after reading the JSP relevant sections.
I have in the past had to correct the local HR Admin staff.

Hey, Think it is 60 days maximum anytime after that LOA is stopped. I know LOA recently went down by 35% and there is rumours of it being compleatly stopped this year. Im not sure wether to believe that or not but after coming back to Germany last year after being in the UK for 4 years (was in Germany for 2 years previous to the UK), we did notice a big difference when the LOA dropped.
I would suggest that you ask your Welfare Officer as they can tell you the amount of time you can be away from your SFA to lose the LOA. xKim0 -
Or company clerk, or RAO (Both of those should be approached by hubby unless he is away). I will say there is another drop of approx £4 a day expected in April (thats for a Cpl with 2 kids so will be different in different circumstances).0
