hi , i have started claims with both egg and tesco banking to reclaim ppi on loans . both have written to me saying these are on going and as it it more than 8 weeks since i started the claims i can refere to the financial ombudsman , but that if i do they will no longer deal with me direct .
my question is what should i do !? as there has been christmas and new year since i started my claims i am not suprised that there has been no decsions yet , so should i be fair and give them a bit longer or do i now refer to the ombudsman ?
thanks gabby

Hi Gabby
A difficult one isn't it really? not knowing to stay put or move on to the FOS.
You could wait a little longer if you want to, but that is up to you, maybe set up your own timescale and if you hear nothing by then, move on to the FOS.
Hope you hear some news soon, good luck on your reclaiming.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
