This is picking up from an old/cold thread about a strange noise on washing machine (Bosch WPF 3300)
i am trying to get into the gubbins of the washing machine but I am getting stuck as there are 4 screws with strange 'heads' (star shaped) adnI don't have the bits.
Can I get theme and what are they called?

Hi,
they are called torx bits, have you tried using a small flat headed screw driver?0 -
Thanks
Got the back off
Belt looks ok - noise is coming from the 'spindle' that rotates the drum, so I am guessing it's the bearing/s
Might use it until it seizes up completely, and I can get 'a man out' or afford a new machine
