    I've been Money Tipped!
Do you qualify for EMA, if you're really stuck for work? My brother, also 17, gets this, although my parents are on a low income.

I get EMA, but I really want a job and earn my own money. Back payments should be £250 plus maybe £300+ by the time they give it to me so looking forward to that!

    what about cleaning ?
    car washing
delivering free local newspapers / brochures etckitchen staff in hotels / restaurants

theres always loads of part time jobs like this on the job centre website
    http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/Internet/setLocale.do?country=GB&language=en&page=/initialise.do

failing that go into every shop / retailer etc in the area and enquire :)

Definitely try the Job Centre website - you can search for jobs under 16 hours per week, by location and even for seasonal work. Have you got a M & S near you? They have an online asessment/application site. Keep checking back with the stores that say they have no current vacancies, you may get lucky!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.

I've tried M&S and there's something dodgy about their website which is getting sorted out, something with me applying once already when I actually didnt.

Anyway, I went jobcentre plus today and got some of those printed receipt 'thingys'....going to give them a call on Wednesday when im free.

First time I went to a jobcenter and actually got a chance to use those screens, its very good.

    Thanks for your advise!
