what benefits am i entiltled to after my redundancy

Hi all i was wondering if anyone can help i am being made redundant in 2 weeks and i am getting the bare minimum of what i am etitled to. But to boost my wage at the end of the month my employers have offered me to do as much overtime as i want. What i dont know is......How much can i earn up to before i cant claim benefits and get help with my rent and counsil tax. ive never been out of work so is a worrying time any help would be appreciated. Thanks
