Friday 14th Jan - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

Guys all I can say is I have been HATING my job for months, and this week I have decided (following the training I did last week) to flip this and not just in my work but also in my personal life - its early days but things have felt so much better already after a week. Yes I have my difficulties, as everyone does but its better (for me at least) to feel pumped up and excited about stuff.
I'm so glad you guys are so lovely and we're all feeling excited about life! xDF as at 30/12/16

Good for you DNMS! You're an inspiration.
Im not super motivated today, but I feel like expenses are coming in from all directions. I was invited to a wedding yesterday in Scottland in March, which is fantastic but of course I'll need to pay for the travel, hotel and wedding pressie. I also need spending money for when I go home to America next month for my granddad's 90th birthday, and of course to get him a pressie as well.
The thing I AM happy with (to get with the upbeat tone of todays thread!) is that my cutting back on food this month has been wildly successfull. I batch cooked a big vat of three bean vege chili last week, which has served us dinners (on a bed of bulgur wheat and with salad) and almost all of my work lunches, and is super healthy. Last night I made a big vat of carrot and coriander soup, which fed us last night and will feed us for another 3 or 4 meals (its in the freezer). Im hoping that the £10 shop I did yesterday will see us through the week.
Whew, so today:- Eating the last of my chili lunches from home
- walking home from work
- check online banking
- charge phone at work
- taking advantage of coffee and water at work
- dinner from stores (bolganese pasta bake)

Oh, forgot to ask. Does anyone know how the trainline works.
Where do I pick up the tickets? Have I left it too late to buy tickets for tomorrow morning?
Any help would be appreciated
Candy x
Not too late at all. You can collect at station - collect from self service machine, put in your reference number and they print out. Just remember to take the card you paid with.
Trainline charge £1 per booking though - I always use www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk for trains from/to anywhere.

Not having the best DFW day.
I went to a craft coffee morning at a local coffee place (I do this most fridays) and bought a coffee, then hubs joined me and we had lunch there.
BUT, in my defense, a friend brought home made cakes so I didn't spend money on baked goods
Hoping for a NSD tomorrow - I've bought food for a packed lunch to take to antenatal class tomorrow and having a family dinner cooked by my mum in the evening. Fingers crossed!5:2 diet devotee, frugal recipe creator, pretty excellent cook, pretty terrible housewife.0
