Yep, you read that right. Comet.

Perfect service from them. Ordered a fridge freezer online, for an excellent, competitive price. They were the only ones with the fridge freezer available in stock. Two very polite delivery blokes delivered when they said they would and they took all the wrapping away and put the appliance in situ.

I'm happy

I must admit, I've always had good service from Comet.

Talking of companies that tend to get slated, I also bought a sofa from DFS a couple of years ago. It was delivered on time and I'm still really pleased with it.

Hopefully my luck continues to hold.

Yup, I agree, I have always had excellent service from them. When I go into the shop i always seek out the same sales guy (if he is on duty), he always gives an honest opinion on the item I want whether its good or bad. The delivery service is a little slow at times, but the delivery team always ring to say when they are coming.

I think most of the issues seem to arise with Comet if there is a problem with the item, that said i've never had an issue with them. (Which may be because i never buy from them.;))

I actually worked at Comet about 5 years ago, not a bad company to work for. I always worked hard to give good honest advice and I rarely had a disappointed customer. Always had reasonable experiences as a customer as well.

I purchased a ACER Netbook from Comet. The salesman tried his damnest to sell me insurance. I refused to budge. Two days later the netbook went dead. Took it back to comet with receipt. Exchanged without any hassle. As long as you stand firm on the insurance, you can get bargains and I have to say, the staff were always very polite.
