Need a loan of £500 short term

Hiya,

Santander have royally :mad: me over and im now in a complete mess with bank charges which I hope to sort out but in the mean time we have nothing and bills to pay, I don't have an overdraft and we have no cash and nothing to sell, cant temp cut doen on things as most have already been paid this month.

I've applied to provident *grumbles* as I really cannot see any other way to sort it out right now, i'm so bloody cross.


I would of gone for a payday loan but wont be able to pay it back within 31 days.

niether of us can pass the check for zoopa as OH is on a DMP

and there is no bank of friends and family lol!

Before I sell my soul to provident has anyone got any better ideas?

will rummage round to see if we've got anything for CC but don't know if we have the petrol to get there nearest one is 20miles!

I think i am going to sit in santander tomorrow untill they sort it out. Will prepare the kids some bits tonight to keep them amused could be in for a long haul!

How short term?

Provident will lend £500 to a first time customer but on the basis of their 52 week repayment plan they will want about £800 back.

If you pay it off sooner then it will be cheaper.

bank refuss to do anything, crisis loan gent was incredably rude and hung up the phone! been to CAB they cant do anything untill next friday! I have a social worker i dont know whether its a good idea to ring them?

have a look at 62days.com - if you have any jewellery to sell they will buy it off you and loan you the money for 62 days totally totally free.

What is the £500.00 actually for? If you've paid most of the bills this month what do you still have left to pay? Can you defer any of the payments or anything? And have you actually spoken to Santander and explained that the charges are causing you hardship?

Ok so they are helping abit but not much, I have to pay in a cheque to cover the £125 of charges today then my card is blocked untill 1st of feb when the next £90 of charges are comming out, if I pay in a cheque of £125 today then they will stop anymore charges accuring ontop of the £90 already I think. I havea dormant account with a cheque book so i am going to do that and then try and sell stuff to get £125 in the next few days, but i still cant afford any food/petrol any other bills for the rest of the month

The £500 pound was for: £125, £90 charges, £100 petrol give or take, £135 bills left to pay, £50 milk and food for the kids.
