Havent done that route but did do newcastle to gothenburg 5 years ago and would never deal with them again. Staff seemed to totally hate the british, food was awful and cabins were tiny. We got to Gothenburg at about 7pm and put on a coach and dumped, none of the staff were helpful with where to go to eat ect and most people ended up at Mcdonalds, we were lucky and found a nice restaraunt where they spoke english. All in all dfds were awful and id never go on one of there ships again even if i was paid to.0

Done it a few times. Staff pleasant and helpful, cabins very small but cheap as chips. Food is fine but quite expensive. Transfer ride is about 45 minutes tour guide knowledgeable and helpful. On board entertainment is a mixed bag, from great to dire. Enjoyed it and would do it again.0

P & O knock DFDS into a cocked hat when it comes to the ferry itself, and the customer service is second to none.
The only drawback is the ride from Europort to Amsterdam is about 1.5 hours.
Both companies are selling 2 for the price of one at the moment.
P & O are by far the best.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
