Weather in Zante in October

Hi

We r due to fly out to tsivili in zante on 7th october this year but I have heard that october in Zante can be very rainy!! Does anyone have any idea what the weather should be like that time of year?? Thanks:D

As you said in october it can be rainy. expect the weather to be around 15 to 17 degrees this time of year, pleasant weather. night time will be cooler so take a cardie.

Went for a week a couple of years ago in October and had some days where it was hot enough to lie on the beach and go into the sea but definately needed to cover up at night.

Hate to mention this but I went for the 1st 2 weeks in October to Zakynthos in 2003 (a mistake) Weather was awful and rained nearly every day and couldn't wait to go back. Got a dirt cheap deal at the time and took it. Will never take a holiday to greek islands in October again. Having said that I naturally hope weather will be okay for you but don't expect constant sunshine.

I went last September, first week and a half was lovely but last few days rained non stop.

Would also mention that a lot of places were closing for the season late September

thats correct we went to kalamaki last 2 weeks in september, a few years ago. for the first week everything was open and i planned a few restaurants for the 2nd week. once that came all the boards were up. also not allowed on some beaches on a night to skinny dip, loggerhead turtles have priority

Been to Tsilivi twice in October, the first time the sun split the trees for the whole fortnight other than a torential shower that lasted no more than 30 mins. The second time we had more rain but again mostly showers that lasted an hour or two at most. Temperature wise it never went below 20 degrees and was generally around the 25 degree mark. It did get fairly cool at night though.
