Comet Vent

On the 30th October a comet delivery van used our driveway to turn their van around and broke a drain cover in the driveway. The tyre must have put too much weight on it. They weren't delivering to us, or anyone in the street, they must have thought that the end of the cul de sac was a good place to turn the van round. They had no business being on my drive.
So I was home at the time and heard a bang, and assumed the truck must have reversed into something, they didn't hang about and drove off. I looked out of the door and didn't see any major damage and because I was busy with my baby didn't go outside. Later I realised the cover was what I had heard breaking and there was a big hole in the driveway.
That afternoon OH rang comet to complain, and we were told they would look into it and call us back. They didn't.
A few weeks later OH called again, they put us on hold while they tried "to make sure we spoke the right person", we got cut off after 10 mins.
OH wrote to comet and they claim that there were no deliveries in our area that day and that they have spoken to their drivers and that they won't be paying for replacing the cover. Its my word against theirs.
So I don't know what else I can do apart from refuse to ever shop at comet ever again. The cover cost about 50 quid to replace, but surely its the principle of the thing. GRRRRRRRRRR
