Cat on a diet

Will be watching this thread with interest, mabel, our mog, is definatly overweight and we have been discussing the best ways of putting her on a diet. problem is we are fairly sure she gets fed by a neighbour as well, she definatly visits someone else (comes in smelling of a coal fire, which we don't have) worried that if we cut her food down she will just get fed more somewhere else

Day 2 on 2 rations a day. Still quite successful although he managed to get into his buffet and have the remains of 3 small spare ribs. I'm hopeful that we'll get there. Summer and being outdoors more will help distract him. He's on 60 grams of Arden Grange light per day at the moment. I might introduce some wetter in summer. He weighs 5.6 kilos at present and looks chunky. Skin and fur in tip top condition - fur is almost like a pelt. He's an all black moggy
