wondering if the lip shimmer is the one that they already have on the site

perhaps the lip balm is the one that usually comes in a small round tin? :)

You can also get BB lip balms which come in a stick, so your guess is as good as mine! :)

Thanks - just ordered the Burts Bees lip balms.

It'd be nice to know exactly which products you're getting but I'm happy to take the plunge as it's a good price for 2 BB items, whichever they are.

Never used their site before but it's the same one from the Sally Hansen offer on the Freebies Low Spend board. Most people seemed happy with that offer.

exactly, that's what i thought. i wasn't sure which items i would be getting. but either way, with a couple of urban decay items, i thought it was worth a punt.

the Sally Hansen products paying postage only were brill :T - full size nail polish and lip gloss and glittery emery board for £2.95. I'm wearing the nail polish right now, its very hard-wearing. Definitely worth having a go for the BB products I'd say.

    Stila Lipgloss 2 pack - WAS £30 - NOW £4 http://www.beautyoutletdirect.co.uk/gbu0-prodshow/stila-lipgloss-reader-offer.html

T J Hughes had loads of Stila cosmetics before Xmas for £2.99 and £3.99 each. My dd bought some for her friends Xmas pressies and they were very impressed. This was at T.J.Hughes at Filton
  • I've just ordered this - never tried BB lip balm, looks like a great price to give it a shot. Thanks, OP. :)

I love Burts Bees! Resisted buying some shimmer today (£4.99 each) while shopping in town. So glad I didn't! :D

    Thanks OP!

Burts' Bees are fed on organic nectar which makes them so much better than your average bee in the street.

    I've been Money Tipped!
My order arrived today....pleased with quick delivery but items not quite what I was expecting!

I completely misunderstood this offer and thought I was getting 2 different lipcare products from the Burt's Bees range...i.e. a BB Lip Shimmer plus another cheaper BB lip balm of some description.......But what I actually got was one BB Lip Shimmer and a very cheap & bog standard looking lipbalm from a brand called "lipcare". Never even heard of that brand before!

Went back and checked the website and they sell another "lipcare" lip balm for 99p. I know their regular prices are inflated but I was expecting something a bit more special. Turns out the image did show the cheapo lipbalm but the pic was so small and I only really noticed the 2 BB products in the foreground, not the tiny bit which you couldn't make out in the background!

Is it only me that got confused or did anyone else find the offer (on their website) misleading?!

Anyway...was a very good price for the BB item, regardless, so still pleased overall (thanks Karlie, still glad you posted! :) )....but just not sure I would've bothered ordering if I'd realised what I was going to get. Compared to the Sally Hansen deal I think the nail offer is probably better value.
  • same here.got my order today and i also thought it was for 2 burts bees products.also went back and re-read offer and realised i had misread it.not such a bargain as the shimmer is available cheaper than £2.95 elsewhere.must take time to read post properly in future.Lol.
