Well that was a surprised. I thought I had flunked te second part of the assessment but I actually passed!
Now just to wait for the welcome e-mail..... oh and open a basic bank account that won't charge me for getting paid!Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
Hiya,
Am tempted to apply for this Lionbridge job, that is if they're still recruiting!
Are they?
Also, just how tough is the application process?
I'm quite geeky / both Mac and PC literate, but rubbish at maths!

morning!
i hope this doesnt sound like a stupid question but i am completing the exam and it has said it needs to be completed by 7am PDT, i know this stands for pacific day time but which county in the US does this refer to??
I hope I dont sound too thick but i dont want to do all this work and then be late! If someone could just provide me with the country or state that this refers to!
Thanks0 -
When I did it last week, I based 7am PDT to be 3pm BST on the same date.
I did not leave it until the very last minute though, so I was finished well before then.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -

I have a HSBC account and they don't charge me for recieving payments from Lionbridge0

Note to anyone looking at seperate accounts for their Lionbridge work. HSBC insist on you switching all your accounts to them, so if you take up the HSBC option, do not let on you have accounts elsewhere.Signaller, author, father, carer.0

Started last month and done a couple of weeks work already.
Got an email saying that the timesheet for my first week's work needs to be adjusted as it didn't tally with the productivity targets.
Bit miffed about this, as I actually spent longer doing the work than I recorded as I kept stopping the clock when I was consulting the guidance notes etc, and only recorded the time actually spent at the pc.
Even so I still spent over 20 hours working as I thought they might downgrade the time but they want to knock me down to 19 hours.
Has anybody else had this experience?
Also is there any point in ever recording over 20 hours work a week or will they just knock it down anyway or do they average it out over the month?0 -
Wooh time sheet approved! (though only did less an hour in the month, but it was a productive and fast hour!)0
