Anyone else having problem acquiring tasks at the moment? I am clicking on acquire but it doesn't do anything, it is on the new portal page and says there are tasks but nothing happening...
Try it clicking it again for a second time afterwards...........you should then find it takes you to "old" one!!!0 -
Thanks, will try again. Although not even letting me log in now! Frustrating as wanted to put some hours in today, haven't had much of a chance this week0

Just passed my Practical Test and got the 'Welcome Pack' and am having problems entering my bank details. When I go to the set up page it says I only need to enter my Account Name and IBAN Number, however when I do that I get an Error Message saying "Enter Bank Key". There is a 'Bank Key' field, but this is "greyed out" and anyway I don't know what I would put in here as 'Bank Key' is clearly not the BIC/SWIFT code because there is a separate field for that (also "greyed out")
Anyone had this and know how to get round it? I've emailed Lionbridge but still awaiting an answer.
The bank, incidentally, is Santander and the first part of the IBAN is GB28ABBY. I do have an account with another bank, but I'm reluctant to use that because they make a charge whereas Santander don't.
Grrr!0 -

Grrr!
Am also with Santander - slightly different code (2 different numbers) but otherwise identical. All I had to put in was this???? Appreciate this does not help you AT all..........I just wanted to reassure you that this IS all you need to enter (usually!)0 -

I suspect the particular IBAN Header Code for Santander I have is missing entirely from the Lionbridge master list and has to be set up by someone there before it will be accepted as valid.
Have used my other account for now as, having made further enquiries, Smile also waive the charge if the payment comes into the account via the EuroCHAPS IBAN payment method, so I should, hopefully, be okay.0 -
really hope i am successful as this would be the perfect job for my situation right now!Debt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

Many thanks to those that offered advice regarding completing the practical in parts.....
Have now completed it and I have to wait until Wednesday for the results - in the interim, I suppose I should tempt a "Phail!" by finding a basic bank account that does not charge for international incomings.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
Woohoo! Passed the certification test :j0
