Anyone else taking Lionbridge Exam next week?

They seem to be super-obsessed with timing at the moment...0

First week in a while i'll be able to do 20 hours.0

Lucky you! I've had NRT so much this week, only really Tue and Thur where I got any significant work, certainly not enough to reach even the minimum so far. Need another 2 hrs.
Just like it was for me for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Guess, you don't have to worry too much about it. If there's no work they can't expect you to match the requirements. ;-)0 -

Same here! I've only got a couple of hours in this week. Hoping for loads of work over the weekend but doubting it very much. Starting to wonder if its worth it. At the moment I'm spending considerably more time on the unpaid stuff than the paid.0 -
Hey everyone, newbie here and to LB. I completed exam for the media position and received an email saying I'd failed and have a second chance to complete it. I was confident with my answers so don't know where I went wrong, does anyone have any advice they can offer to help me pass.
Thanks

So far this month i have only managed about 4 hours, any long term raters know if this is normal for this time of year?0

Also has anyone considered signing on to JSA whilst doing this? Not sure if i should make a claim and then maybe close it when the tasks pick up?0

Managed 5 MINUTES yesterday.....no idea if this is normal for this time of year, done 6 months only.....0

Hi Vixyjayne, I am in exactly the same position as you. Spent several days studying and was a bit surprised that I didn't pass. Also I've been away for a few days (which I informed them about) and I've missed the deadline for the second chance, so I've probably blown it anyway.
Did you take your second chance exam and what was the result? I'm debating whether or not to contact them and ask whether I can take it in a couple of days time.
Reading these posts has made me wary - it sounds like there's not much work available, and I could use the time to search for other jobs. The studying and exam were all very time consuming.0
