Anyone else taking Lionbridge Exam next week?

Sideshow - not sure. I know they can be funny about it, but it is best you email them and ask. They can only say no!
Angie - they will email you with a date for the exam, the date can be anything from a couple of days away to a week or so judging by others experiences.
Lous - It is the 'Internet assessors program' job listed on their site, you then scroll down the page and click on United Kingdom to apply, and yes - it is a very good source of income. You have to register as self-employed and sort taxes out yourself.0 -
FemmeFatale, thank you very much. So, I can register as self-employed in addition to the full-time work that I do at the moment? I haven't done my own taxes before so slightly apprehensive about that. Best, Lou0

Well, answered my own question! Received email just now - exam date 22nd!!
I presume the documentation to read up on comes on that date then? Don't suppose there is any way of having a head start on this 'revision'?

I am in the same situation. This is the first time I haven't been paid within 2-3 days of receiving the remittance advice. My 11 months has just come to an end so i wondered if that was somehow affecting my pay. I emailed them this morning and got an auto response to say they were out of office until today and then i got another automated response saying due to the volume of emails, it may take 4 working days for them to respond so looks like there is nothing i can do but wait.0 -
My application has been accepted and I've replied to the terms and conditions, pay etc and wondered how long does it take to then receive the exam link?
Ta muchly

Hi Angie,
When did you apply, I had an application confirmation on 7th March but have heard nothing since? Does it normally take this long before you get accepted/rejected?0 -
