Ryanair carry on update!

Ryanair have not changed the information on their site since 22 September regarding carry on requirements. Has anyone flown from Stansted in the last few days to know whether their rules have been changed as well as most other airlines and airports.

Rules haven't changed since 22 Sept for any airline/airport... but they do tomorrow. There is a link on their home page (title "New EU Hand Baggage Restrictions - All Flights 6/11/06") which explains the changes, but they're basically the same as all other airlines. Remember this applies at all EU airports and not just in the UK.

Whilst what is allowed in carryon is the same as other airlines, the size of Ryanair's carryon is significantly smaller than the norm

oh forgot to get back you you i had a gander for my old paperwork but thinking i must have dumped it when i left ryanair - (was very cheesed off with them!) but trust me i wish i still had the internal numbers to pass on to you! sorry

Thanks, Tinkerbell, Caroline Green will now change her email address as she undoubtedly will be inundated with mail from clients' complaining about their service. I do phone Dublin when I phone but the telephonist is well trained and will not put anyone through.

I would be interested to learn about the 'small size' of carry on luggage as my case is the size they mention on the baggage information and I don't want the hassle of checking it in on their whim.

Tinkerbell I wasn't chastising you on the contrary. You know how things work now as soon as they know we can reach them they pull the drawbridge down. Service is a thing of the past - the customer is never right any more. Now I haven't even got her number or email address - so that shows me!!
