The only reason I can think why is that I went to xbox.com to apply rather than xbox.com/uk. But I told them I lived in the UK.

Proberly just a simple mistake, I went to http://www.microsoft.com/xbox/ but the thing on the front page has gone now , it then asked you to choose a country.

Thanks for the replies. Just to add to the mystery, both of mine came through Southall but got two notification letters via Sweden. Another point the first box was neatly labled for all to see "Xbox cable". Very helpful if someone wanted to nick it. Anyways I think I'll email them and complain. The circuit-breaker has me worried though, what exactly is that wrong with the cord that'll require that. It makes me think that the real problem isn't the cord at all but the actual Xbox. Also can you imagine any brown-out we have that thing will go off and crash the Xbox drive especially during saving.
