How do I keep the wire in my bra?
Comments
-
I have various other bras, but my problem is that I can't get one that is comfortable. I am 38G and used to always wear underwire bras until I was pregnant and BF my last child. So I was in non-wired for about 2 1/2 years and can't get comfortable in an underwired one again, except this one that the wire has gone in. I can't afford really expensive. I went to M&S recently and got measured and treated myself to a proper bra. But the wire hurts me under the arms.
Think I will try the blue-tack and bit of material to sew over the hole.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

For those on the look out for bras that are comfortable, I would recommend going to an independent retailer - there's one in my local town and that's all they sell, well lingerie and swimwear too. Although they are only a small shop they have a wide range of brands for every shape and size. They also don't measure you with a tape measure, they just look and know what size you are.
I'd never go to M&S again.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

I second the independant shop post, also if you are on a budget Figleaves do some good offers, the secret is to find a bra that fits properly and it will be comfortable, if the underwire hurs the bra is too big for you in that area, you need to find one that doesn't come up as far.
Get properly fitted, M& S will stick you in anything, they said I was 42D I wear 36 FF and feel so much better, my straps stay put and my wires stay where they should be.0
