    Yes, that happened to the son of a work colleague when he passed his test, the premium went up from £1800 to £3000!!!!:eek:

    My insurance jumped by a 3rd late last year, did have a claim mind you no fault of mine parked car idiot hit and drove off, I did have protect no claims and 9 years NCD didnt sop increase.

    Same happened with building contents until I changed supplier ironically same insurance as car now. It always best to shop around best deals are for careful drivers who have no loyalty
