SW - Sorry, I as exciting Memory Girl :(

But one of my job titles is a 'Chocolate Fairy'. I am licenced to run workshops to show women how they can eat what they want, be the size they want and never, EVER, diet ... Just google Beyond Chocolate and you will get the idea. I also do 'IT for the terrified silver surfer' and 'Beginners digital photography' but they don't have any chocolate in them so are much less exciting.

Beanie - I will do once I have confirmed it ... hope it will be good for public transport and with car parking. How close are you?
Can you decide if you are physically hungry, or thinking about chocklit because I mentioned it (or it's because you are sad, happy, angry, afraid). If it will hit the spot, then eat, if not have a think about what might ...

SWB - Nope but there is another fairy in Salisbury (she is lovely).

BC is all about separating eating for hunger and eating for support and recognising the two. It means there is no need for being on a diet wagon and if there is no wagon there is no way to 'fall off' (no need for counting calories, no last supper, no good/bad foods, no denial). You start to learn about eating when hungry and stopping when satisfied. There is no hypnosis, sorry. There is lots of doing and identifying what foods make your body feel well and accepting that whether you like your shape/size it is helpful to acknowledge that it is yours (and it has done a good job carrying you around for all of the years you've been on the planet).

It is an interesting subject (in a nerdy sort of way) and I found I ate peanuts and crisps mainly because I was angry and crunching them made it better!

And thanks for calling me motivational ... not a word I would have chosen but maybe after a few more workshops I will start to believe it :)

Surely that should read '"Hell is other people's children" :D
